Our STEAM PBL program distinguishes itself in the field of language acquisition by integrating STEAM-oriented methodologies alongside the Cambridge English Examination and TOEFL proficiency benchmarks to ensure rigorous assessment of student learning. Through inquiry-based, interdisciplinary, and intercultural instruction, students develop advanced linguistic competence while fostering critical analysis, innovation, and creativity across the domains of science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics.

Experienced educators have created our program. Each creator teaches multiple disciplines and works in a bilingual environment. This makes our material easy to implement and exceedingly enjoyable by students and teachers alike.

Each lesson begins with age appropriate content that complements the national curriculum. Teachers need not prepare additional lessons as the Griggs curriculum supplements pre-existing content. With this program, students have the opportunity to know subject content in the English language in addition to the local language. Subject content is not compromised and lessons are designed to be offered by bilingual or native English speaking teachers.

There is a creative element to every lesson. From a range of tasks, students will be expected to think creatively, determine the correct vocabulary for effective communication, establish cause and effect, consider different possibilities, debate ideas, think logically and present an outcome visually and in oral form.

Values-based Learning

The Griggs four key values of dignity, honor, respect and integrity (DHRI) are proactively attended by our exclusive characters: Dhalia Dignity, Conner Honor, Ria Respect and Liang Xi Integrity. Throughout the lessons, these characters serve as the conscience of the reader, asking him/her to consider the actions of story characters and determine the appropriate behavior and action to uphold the Griggs values.

Griggs Certificate

The books, lessons, resources and materials used in the Griggs STEAM PBL Program are designed for language acquisition. The situations created in the stories introduce idioms and confirm speaking, listening, reading and writing. By following the different levels of the program, students will be able to progress in Cambridge English Language Proficiency or TOEFL Junior exams. The Griggs STEAM PBL Program has been proven to offer students a higher standard of language acquisition and subject content learning. A terminal exam is offered at each level to assess student progress and students have the opportunity to obtain a Griggs certificate.
