Griggs China School Evaluations Spring 2025

Part 1:The Purpose of the Visit

All Griggs affiliated schools participate in program evaluations each semester. Evaluations allow schools and Griggs to determine if the programs are being implemented according to Griggs philosophy, standards, and practices. It is an opportunity for schools to pause, reflect on what is working and what may need more attention. It is a time to step back to see the bigger picture, re-engage the community and get re-energized about what the school offers students and teachers.

It was time again for in-person evaluations in March this year. Griggs China Academic Director, Ms. Lisa Kerr and GIA Registrar Ms. Jeannie Leiterman visited schools in China to evaluate program delivery.

A recommendation then follows each rating where appropriate. Specific areas of concern will be noted, and a Griggs or local remedy offered. The outcomes of the evaluations will be shared with school administrators within a month of the completion of the evaluation.
