As a member school of Griggs China, Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School (SHBS) has always been committed to providing students with an excellent and innovative educational experience. On January 5, 2025, the school successfully held the first "Genesis Initiative" Student Entrepreneurship Competition Pitch Day, vividly demonstrating its educational mission to cultivate future leaders and innovators. Centered around the core principles of "Real Problems, Feasible Solutions, and Clear Execution," the event brilliantly showcased the students' growth in business planning and comprehensive practical skills.

The pitch day brought together 12 student teams from four major fields: education technology, public welfare innovation, campus life, and technology application. The event featured a professional judging panel comprising four seasoned investment and entrepreneurship experts: Ms. Cao, Investment Managing Partner of Aixin Bosheng Investment; Ms. Tang, an AI overseas entrepreneurship founder; Mr. Duan, Founding Partner of Lantai Investment; and Mr. Qu, a senior investor. They provided in-depth comments from perspectives such as market potential and business models. Additionally, eight parent representatives from the school's Family Committee participated as mentors throughout the event, collectively fostering a professional, authentic, and supportive entrepreneurship practice ecosystem.

The pitch day followed a rigorous format: a 3-minute project presentation and a 40-second Q&A session, with an innovative hybrid scoring model combining "Professional Judges (60%) + Public Judges (40%)." During the event, multiple outstanding projects received "Project Follow-up Letters of Intent" issued by the judges, highlighting the practical value and potential of the students' proposals.

As the event's initiator, Teacher Yu explained the original intention behind its creation: "I aimed to break away from conceptualized event models and create a real and actionable business competition, allowing students to fully immerse themselves in the entire process of commercial entrepreneurship and closely engage with core business concepts such as entrepreneurship and investment."

This event was not merely a project showcase but also a profound entrepreneurship education practice. It fully demonstrated Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School's steadfast commitment and outstanding achievements in promoting innovative education and holistic development as a member school of Griggs China. We look forward to the continued blossoming of these young ideas in the future and firmly believe that the school will continue to provide a robust platform for cultivating students' key competencies for the future.
